Explains what an authorized employee does under a lockout tagout program: how authorized personnel differ from affected personnel, the basic steps for isolating hazardous energy, the locks, tags and isolating devices involved, and how group lockouts and shift changes are handled. It gives you an understanding of the role rather than qualifying you for it, since authorization still requires training on your own employer's energy control program and an annual periodic inspection.Free30 min
- Machine GuardingUnderstand machine guarding requirements and safetyFree15 min
- Materials HandlingCovers the ways materials get moved at work: by hand, with non-powered equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies, with powered industrial trucks, on conveyance systems, and by automated equipment. - Non-Powered EquipmentUse non-powered equipment safely to prevent injuriesFree10 min
- OSHA and Workers' RightsExplains what the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 requires, the rights it gives you as a worker, and what your employer must do in return. Also covers how OSHA inspections happen and how to report a hazard.Free15 min
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Covers what personal protective equipment is, how an employer's hazard assessment decides what you need, and the main types by body part, including eye and face, head, hearing, hand and foot protection. Also covers the limits of each type, minimum training requirements, and which items an employer is not required to pay for.Free20 min
- Powered EquipmentOperate powered equipment safely and effectivelyFree15 min
- Powered Industrial Truck AwarenessFor people who work near forklifts and other powered industrial trucks rather than for operators: how to stay visible, read the warning signs a truck gives off, avoid the behaviors that get pedestrians hurt, and report incidents and near misses. The course states it does not cover PIT operation and is not adequate training to operate one.Free15 min
- Powered Industrial Trucks for DriversOperator-level basics for powered industrial trucks: how a PIT handles differently from a car, how counterweight and center of gravity keep a loaded truck stable, daily shift inspections, carrying loads on ramps, and what to do if the truck starts to tip. The course states plainly that it does not certify you to operate a PIT, and directs you to your supervisor to find out what certification requires.Free30 min

It then covers what an OSHA-required spill response plan must contain, the difference between an incidental spill and one you should not touch, and the PPE and spill kit materials used for containment.Free15 min
- Storm Water Pollution PreventionExplains how stormwater runoff picks up sediment, oil, grease, pesticides, and other pollutants as it moves across a site, what that does to waterways and aquatic life, and how a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) controls it. It covers the Clean Water Act permitting trigger for construction work, the structural and housekeeping best management practices used to hold soil and pollutants on site, and the roles a SWPPP has to assign by name.Free15 min

Courses are the smallest part
The library sets the language. The live session is where the skill is built.
Every program week starts with two or three short courses so the live session can be practice rather than lecture. On their own, courses are finished by the people who least need them. Paired with a facilitator and a follow-up, they hold.
Talk to ARIA
Ask what you would ask us.
ARIA works the way a good first call works. She asks who is involved and what should change, recommends the closest starting point, quotes the real price, and hands you to a person when you want one.

How many courses are in the Thrive library?
One hundred thirty-six self-paced courses today, in five libraries: EH&S, Professional Development, HR & Compliance, Leadership Development, Sales Training. Fifty-six of them are free for every company at any size. New titles are added from what customers ask for, so the number grows. This page counts the catalog it is showing you, so it cannot drift from what is actually in the platform.
Is the compliance library really free?
Yes. Harassment prevention, workplace safety, and the annual acknowledgements are free for every employee at any company size, with completion tracking and no card required.
Can we request a course that is not here?
Yes. Tell ARIA the topic and it goes on the roadmap. New titles are prioritized by what companies on the platform ask for.
Who made the courses?
The instructional designers at SDI Clarity, who build training for Fortune 1000 companies. The same team builds the live workshops and programs, so the language is consistent across all three.
